Tell us your story, and we’ll tell yours in stills and film! Simply shoot a short video and tell us what’s unique to you and your wedding, or about the journey that brought you together. Post it on our Facebook page, share it with your friends and you could receive complementary photography and cinematography coverage for your wedding! If you don’t win the Tell Us Your Love Story Contest, all participants will still receive a special gift  ;)

The Steps:

1. Make a short video of you and your future husband/wife to be and tell us about your love story.
2. Upload it directly to our facebook page: www.facebook.com/cottonlovestudios (you’ll have to like our page first).
3. Share it with your friends and get the word out!

The Rules:

• Subject to availability.
• Wedding must be between 2013 and the end of 2014.
• Winner shall receive up to 10 hours of complementary wedding photography and cinematography with high resolution photos, a 4 minute highlight film and raw video footage.
• Submissions will be taken up until 11:59pm on May 31st, 2013. We will announce a winner shortly after.

Even though it’s Spring, it was such an overcast day in Venice Beach. The clouds had actually played in our favor though because it not only casted a soft beautiful light, it also deterred a lot of people from coming to the beach. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves!

My engagement session with Suzy and Issac was scheduled on an extremely overcast day but was unfortunately postponed to a few days later… but I’m so glad it was. The sky turned out to be amazing that day! The rain clouds just parted and the sun was shining down on us for the whole shoot.

Suzy and Issac had great chemistry between them. I would put them into a position and they would just be so at ease and natural with each other, which only made my job that much easier. Photographing them was a real pleasure and I can’t wait for more of the opportunity at their wedding in Northern California next month. Suzy also brought home made pumpkin cookies for me during our shoot and I can easily say they were the best pumpkin cookies I’ve ever had. I think half the reason I’m looking forward to their wedding is for a chance to have some more of her cookies…

It was the beginning of 2012 that we took maternity photos for Shirley, and now Hannah is 10 months old!  Look at this cutie pie.  She has transformed from a tiny egg in mommy’s tummy to a 20+ lbs baby!  Of course that’s the magic of mommy & daddy’s intense love plus hm… some nutritious milk + food.  =)  Hannah was a super baby model!  Despite her teething pain, she did great the whole time.  Can you tell she was teething at all?

Thank you Herman and Shirley for the biggest effort to make Hannah laugh.  I have always wanted to take photos of parents making silly faces at my back.  Don’t you agree those photos are just as priceless as a LOL baby photo?  Well… I’m sure I’ll do it one day!

Spending the day down in San Diego was a nice little get away from our usual Los Angeles area and spending it with Hanh and Khoi was really what made it so great. Hanh, Khoi, and the whole bridal party were just so inviting and made the whole Cotton Love team feel completely welcomed. It was definitely a pleasure or ours to have been a part of everything. Congrats you two!
